After a week at work I was looking forward to a breezy weekend - well as usual the forecast winds failed to arrive yet again herein Felixstowe:( With the wind wsw a bit off at Felixstowe I decided to head to Levington early to try and miss the rain! So Mag and I were at Levington at 9:30 and it was already raining with light winds!!! With stronger winds supposed to be coming I rigged 8.5 and took the longboard out and never got going at all:( I floundered around for nearly 3 hours visiting Pin Mill, the Dock and even sailing into the dead tree lagoon as the tide was very high! but all I achieved was cold hands:( 9 degrees today so hat and gloves time - the point of winter is??? I was joined on the River Orwell for awhile by Andy Marshal land he struggled to get going too! The only highlight were the many Geese and waders - fingers crossed for a better day tomorrow at hopefully Point Clear. Mag enjoyed her day doing Christmas crafts and collecting logs for the fire in the woods:)
